Congressman Tim Ryan (D-OH) is running for Ohio’s U.S. Senate seat against “America First” extremist J.D. Vance, and he’s the type of of policy-focused leader America needs. In Congress, Tim has been an effective representative for his district, fighting for what matters most to the working people of Ohio.

Tim is a lifelong Ohioan who is focused on improving life for Ohio’s working and middle class. He’s seen how policies helped the wealthiest few and big corporations benefit while Ohioans work harder than ever, but fall further behind. Tim believes in American manufacturing and knows we can bring good-paying jobs back to Ohio. He’s worked hand-in-hand with businesses to do just that. Tim will also fight to lower costs and lower taxes for the working and middle class, so Ohio families can to keep more of their money in their pockets.

In Congress, Tim has fought for policies that will help Ohioans pursue the American Dream. He’s opposed trade deals that outsource jobs overseas, pushed to raise wages and advocated for stronger Medicare and Social Security. Tim is a proud co-sponsor of the Equality Act, which would strengthen legal protectionsfor LGBTQ+ people and ban discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity in housing, employment, health care and more.

In the Senate, Tim will keep fighting to revitalize Ohio manufacturing, create better jobs with higher wages, starting with passing the PRO Act & raising the minimum wage to $15/hour. He’ll push to make healthcare more affordable, expand access to high-quality childcare, invest in education and rebuild American infrastructure.
